Happy Friday

Its a beautiful Friday morning, the sun shining and temperatures normal for a spring day. I've already been extremely frustrated with "blogging" again today and this is my third attempt at this entry.

I wanted to post this pic of Samantha and Jacob to tell you this is who I'll be babysitting on Saturday evening. Samantha is very independant and even somewhat opinionated even at her age. When she is around people that she is comfortable with, she doesn't hesitate to be brutally honest and tell you how she feels. Good most of the time, bad when it actually hurts your feelings.

Jacob on the other hand, he's very affectionate, more soft hearted than Samantha. But he's still a boy and he's very rough and tumble when he is playing. This summer he's going to play soccer for the first time and Samantha (who I also call Sis) will be playing softball. Hopefully we'll get out to see them and cheer them on.

The pic posted was taken at our family reunion for our grandparents 50th wedding anniversary in Newfoundland. Kids will be kids!
