Happy Valentines Day Everyone! I'm not much for the day, I think it bothers me that it's such a commercial holiday. Cause really, why should you be any different in your relationship today rather than any other day? However, "IF" I were showered with flowers & gifts I would not be upset in any way, shape or form, and then again if I got that on any day I would appreciate it the same or more.
On another note, we had a storm last night, surprisingly the drive to work wasn't that bad. Less traffic (lots of people staying home) and the roads were cleared well. I don't like the cold but I do like having storms like this,...just wish it were bad enough to have a snow day...but it wasn't :( I heard on the radio that it's supposed to continue all today and tomorrow too. So we'll see tomorrow if it's snow day material!
Anyway, that's my ramblings for the day! And to my hunny bunny "Happy Valentines Wishes"...I'm not a complete scrooge about the day :) Til Next Time Everyone

Jamie called and said not to make supper cause he's picking something up...no arguments here...wonder if I'll get chocolates for dessert? mmm! Yup, I think I'm totally cool with getting stuff on a commercial holiday although I agree that it shouldn't just be an excuse for couples to "pretend" and suddenly just have one good day because it's valentines. Tracey said you wouldn't believe all of the "fakers" you see out at the restaurant today.
Happy Valentine's Day! I agree, Valentine's Day is just another commercial holiday but hey, if someone (say Colin) wants to give me flowers or chocolates, who am I to complain. lol.
